# Signing in to your account

> One account signs you in to Site Manager and every app we make. Sign in with your email and a password, with Google or Microsoft, or with a passkey.

One account signs you in to everything we make: Site Manager, where you manage your website, and the Account app at **account.brokerandagent.com**, where you manage how you sign in, your sessions, your time zone, your cards and invoices, and your data.

## Four ways to sign in

| Way | How it works |
|---|---|
| Email and password | Your address has to be verified before anything opens. |
| Google | Signs you in with your Google account. We ask Google only for your name, email and profile. |
| Microsoft | Signs you in with your Microsoft account, asking for the same three things. |
| Passkey | Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key. No password, and it counts as both steps of [two-step sign-in](https://brokerandagent.com/help/account/two-step-sign-in). |

Google and Microsoft sign-ins go straight to them, and the address they give us is already verified.

## Choosing a password

A password needs at least 8 characters, with a number and both upper- and lower-case letters. A password manager can make and remember a strong one for you.

When you sign up, a quick check that you're a person (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on the sign-up form.

## Changing how you sign in

Your ways to sign in are in **Account → Security**, with two-step sign-in, your sessions and your security activity.

Changing your email or password, adding or removing a way to sign in, changing two-step and deleting your account all ask you to confirm it's you first, if you haven't in the last 10 minutes. With two-step on, that's a passkey or a code.

## Emails about your account

We email you when something changes:

- a sign-in from a new device (never for your very first sign-in);
- your password or email address changing;
- two-step being turned on, off or changed;
- your account being scheduled for deletion, and deleted.

The new-device email has a **This wasn't me** link. It signs you out everywhere, sends you a password reset and lets our team know. See [Sessions and signing out](https://brokerandagent.com/help/account/sessions).
