# Website AI and packs

> How Growth's monthly website AI allowance works, what happens when a month runs out, and the packs that add more.

A Growth website comes with a monthly AI allowance. It covers everything the AI does for your site:

- the website assistant's chats with your visitors;
- **Ask AI** in the editor;
- your blog posts;
- your area guides;
- the SEO fixes drafted for you.

You see how much of the month you've used as a percentage. We email the site's owner when it reaches 80% and 100%.

## When a month runs out

- **Writing waits.** Blog posts, guides, drafts and Ask AI wait for the 1st of next month, or for a pack.
- **Your visitors still get help.** The assistant keeps answering for a while past the allowance. After that, it takes visitors' details with your lead form instead, until the 1st or until you add a pack. A lead is never turned away.

The allowance starts over on the 1st of each month (counted in UTC).

## Packs

A pack adds more AI when a month needs it. Packs cost **$10, $25 or $50**, paid once.

- **70% of a pack's price goes to your AI allowance,** measured the same way as the monthly allowance.
- **A pack lasts 12 months** from when you buy it.
- **Packs aren't refunded,** except when we charge you by mistake.

### Buy a pack

Only the site's owner can buy a pack, in **Site Manager**, under **Settings → AI → Extra usage**.
