The short answerSkySlope is brokerage software: transaction management with compliance review, auditing and broker oversight at its centre, sold on a quote with third-party estimates in the region of $25 to $60 per user per month. It is bought by the brokerage, not usually by the agent. Broker & Agent Workspace includes transactions, documents and e-signature on its free plan, with compliance records and audit history on Pro and organisation-wide oversight at the brokerage tier. Choose SkySlope if you are a brokerage whose primary problem is file compliance and audit at scale. Choose us if you want the agents to have a system they actually like using, with the compliance layer on top rather than the whole point.
Choose Broker & Agent Workspace if… You want the agents to have somewhere good to work, not just somewhere the broker can audit. The transaction sits with the contact, the conversation and the pipeline, and the compliance layer sits over that rather than being the entire product. And the agent-facing part costs nothing.
Choose SkySlope if… You are a brokerage whose central problem is file compliance at scale: review queues, state-specific requirements and a broker signing off on hundreds of files a year. That specific workflow is what they were built around, and it is deeper there than ours is today.

Where we win

The agent gets something out of it Compliance software is bought by the broker and used by the agent, which is why agents so often resent it. Here the transaction sits inside the system where the agent already works their pipeline, so the compliance file is a by-product of doing the job rather than extra work.
Published pricing Ours is on the pricing page. SkySlope is quote-based, and brokerages routinely negotiate different rates, which makes it very hard to know whether you are getting a good deal.
It is also the CRM A brokerage running SkySlope still needs a CRM for its agents, and usually buys one. That is two platforms, two migrations and two invoices for jobs that share the same contacts.
Free for the agent tier An agent can run transactions, documents and e-signature at no cost. There is no version of SkySlope an individual agent picks up for nothing to see whether they like it.

Compliance-first versus agent-first

SkySlope is built from the broker's side of the desk. The review queue, the audit trail and the state-specific checklists are the product, and everything the agent does feeds them. For a brokerage carrying real compliance risk across hundreds of files a year, that is exactly the right design.

Workspace is built from the agent's side. The transaction is one part of a system the agent is already in all day for leads, follow-up and client work, and the compliance record accumulates because the work happened there. Both models are defensible. Which one fits depends on whose problem you are solving first.

What we would say to a brokerage

If compliance review is your only problem and your agents are already happy with what they have, their depth on that one workflow is ahead of ours. We would rather say so than win a deal we should not.

If you are also buying a CRM, and paying for e-signature separately, and hearing from agents that the compliance tool is something they endure, then the arithmetic is different. Our brokerage tier is a platform fee plus a per-active-agent rate, quoted after scoping, and it covers the agent-facing system as well as the oversight.

Where SkySlope is the better fit

One place: brokerage compliance review at scale. The review workflows and state-specific requirements are deeper there, because that single problem is the whole product. If your broker spends their week in a review queue, weigh that seriously. Everywhere else on this page — the CRM, the agent experience, the pricing you can actually read — we would rather have our hand than theirs.

Moving over

We do it for you. Contacts, notes, tags and history come across and we handle the mapping rather than sending you a template and wishing you luck. Workspace Free costs nothing and has no contact cap, so you can bring your whole database in, run it beside whatever you have now, and take as long as you like to be satisfied before turning anything off. Everything exports back out whenever you want it. Workspace Pro is $99 a month when you want the rest of it, or $59 if you also have one of our websites.

Common questions

How much does SkySlope cost?

SkySlope does not publish a rate card; pricing is quoted per brokerage and routinely negotiated. Third-party estimates put it in the region of $25 to $60 per user per month depending on size and modules. Because it is negotiated, treat any published figure as a rough guide and get a quote. Broker & Agent publishes its pricing: free for the agent tier, $99 a month for Workspace Pro, and a platform fee plus per-active-agent rate for brokerages.

Does Workspace do brokerage compliance?

Compliance records and audit history are in Workspace Pro, and organisation-wide compliance oversight, roles, routing and reporting are in the brokerage tier. We would be straight with you that SkySlope has more depth in review workflows and state-specific requirements today, because they have been building for that single problem for years. Where we are ahead is that the agents are working in the same system, so the file is a by-product rather than a chore.

Can agents use it for free if the brokerage does not buy it?

Yes. Workspace Free is free for every individual, permanently, and includes transactions, document storage and e-signature. An agent at a brokerage that has standardised on something else can still run their own contacts, pipeline and deals here at no cost.
