How your website gets built

From your free preview to launch day, what happens at each step, what we'll ask you for, and when your monthly plan starts.

Your website is designed and built by our team, around your brand and your market. You tell us about your business and approve the design; we do everything else. Here’s how it goes, start to finish.

1. See a free preview#

Ask for a free preview and we build a live example of your site first. There’s no card and no obligation. The price we quote with your preview holds for four weeks after we send the link.

2. Choose your plan#

When you’re ready, choose Launch or Growth and pay the one-time build fee. At checkout you enter your name, email and card (and a promo code, if you have one), then create your account with a password.

Note

Your monthly plan doesn’t start until your site is live. You pay the build fee now, and the first monthly charge comes at launch. On Growth, the Growth features work while we build.

3. Send us a few details#

Our team reaches out within a day of your payment. We’ll ask for:

  • your name as it should appear, your license number and your brokerage’s details;
  • the MLS you belong to (we handle the rest; see how we connect your MLS);
  • the domain you want to use (see how we connect your domain);
  • your bio, headshot, logo and any photos and testimonials you’d like on the site.

Don’t have everything? Send what you have. We’ll write the first draft of your pages and you tell us what to change.

You can send files and notes any time in Site Manager.

4. Review your site#

We design and build your site, then send you a private preview address to review it. Tell us what you’d like changed: we keep refining your design with you until you’re happy with it, before it goes live.

5. Launch#

Once you approve the design, we connect your MLS, your forms and your domain, and take the site live. Connecting the MLS is usually the longest step, because it waits on your MLS and your broker. Your site can be finished before that clears; we launch as soon as it does.

Where to see progress#

In Site Manager, the overview shows where things stand: building, review (your site is ready for you to look over) or live.

After launch#
